Architecture and environment

In my second year I worked together with Noémie Crick. We focused on the environment in which a design should come, how do we get a connection between building and environment, how do we make sure the design is embraced by the neighborhood and how can we make sure the design can give something back to its neighborhood? All these questions had to be answered. The assignment was to design a small elementary school in a neighborhood where different cultures meet. Therefore the school also had to include collec- tive spaces that could be used after school hours.
